What I did on my summer vacation

We had a very nice trip to Germany, including visits with two ham radio related businesses — Funkamateur Magazine and Box 73 in Berlin, and Difona Communications in Frankfurt. Difona is a dealer for the MK-1, and Box 73 is selling our PicoKeyer-Plus and UKA-2 kits. I want to extend our sincere thanks to Knut . . . → Read More: What I did on my summer vacation

Nach Deutschland!

Hopefully we'll have as much fun as Clark and Ellen!

We will be visiting Germany for several days in August. Our itinerary has us tentatively in Berlin at Box 73 Gmbh on Wednesday and/or Thursday, 25/26 August. Then we will be in Frankfurt at Difona Communications on Friday the 27th. If you are in . . . → Read More: Nach Deutschland!

More assembled units available

I know everyone is waiting for ID-O-Matic IIs, but not yet. However, I do have UKA-2 boards available, assembled and tested. Just pick that option (there’s a drop-down box at the bottom of the item page) when ordering.

Of course I also have PicoKeyer-Plus kits available assembled and tested. Oh, and I fixed a problem . . . → Read More: More assembled units available

Dayton 2010 Wrap-Up

Well, it was a very good trip to Dayton this year. Our new booth location was much better than last year, and attendance (especially Saturday) was very good. Our products were well received and we were happy to be able to meet and talk with so many new and existing customers. All in all, we’re . . . → Read More: Dayton 2010 Wrap-Up

Dayton 2010 – Day 2

What a day! I would have to say that after last year, the Hamvention is definitely looking healthier. We’re certainly busier, due in part to a much better booth location. And hams seem to be in a buying mood; conversations are more upbeat and attitudes are more positive. All in all it feels like it’s . . . → Read More: Dayton 2010 – Day 2

Dayton 2010 – Day 1

Lisa and I arrived very late Wednesday night after a 12 hour drive. We spent yesterday unpacking and setting up the booth. This morning the gates opened at 9 AM sharp, and it was pretty apparent within a short time that the crowd was a little bigger than last year, and the outlook was a . . . → Read More: Dayton 2010 – Day 1
