We will be visiting Germany for several days in August. Our itinerary has us tentatively in Berlin at Box 73 Gmbh on Wednesday and/or Thursday, 25/26 August. Then we will be in Frankfurt at Difona Communications on Friday the 27th. If you are in the Berlin, Frankfurt or Nuremberg areas, we’d love to meet you!
I have posted an updated ZIP file of the beta release of MK-1 V1.22 beta. The only change at this time is the manual. It’s still in PDF format, but now the manual has bookmarks to make it far easier to navigate and find what you’re looking for. I have also added some expanded documentation for using the MK-1 with Linux and Mac OS X.
I recently added the ability to ship Priority Mail International and Express Mail International to locations outside the USA. Unfortunately, the shipping portion of the web site is not quite as well developed as I would like. For small orders, I can ship in a small flat-rate box for around $13.45. That option doesn’t show up in the selection list, unfortunately; I’ll try to remedy that, but can’t say when it will be fixed.
If you pay with PayPal, it’s quite simple for me to adjust the shipping amount and issue a partial refund for the excess shipping charges. Otherwise, if you see shipping charges you think might be too high, please contact me. I am trying to get the shipping charges to accurately reflect the shipping cost and not penalize DX hams with extra costs.
