I love this unit!!
Purchased one to replace a 30+year old homemade IDer for a local government system.
Had the kit assembled in very short order, and was able to craft an interface to match the pinouts of the old IDer. The ID-O-Matic II mounted to a Vectorboard for the interface, and has worked perfectly since installation a week ago.
Users are commenting about how "that Morse code ID sure sounds nice"..something I have NEVER heard from anyone, before. The setup is very easy, with all kinds of optional settings on tone, speed, and of course, the Morse message. We are using the "alternate message" to indicate when the standby transmitter is in use. Nice touch to have that ability built in.
Hope to get more in the very near future (if the budgets don't get cut further).
