Originally I wanted a safe way to key my old Yaesu FL-2100b. This unit worked flawlessly with my HW-101,TR4-c, TS-430s, FT-840 and IC-746. Simple concept but a simply elegant solution. Just for grins I put it in an old Sucrets metal can. so I could move it around for other uses. Since they are inexpensive I will eventually buy enough for the different amps, both new and old.
Nice kit for teaching simple assemply and soldering. At least after it is built it is more usefull than an LED flasher that I keep seeing as a beginner kit.
